Your customers want a number before they ring you. Give them one on your own page: paste two lines of HTML and they can work out the tiles, boards, timber or concrete for their job without leaving your site.
No account, no API key, no plugin, nothing to pay. We ask you to keep one small credit link under the calculator, and that is the whole arrangement.
Why bother putting one on your site
It is a ten-minute job, so the question is only whether it earns its place on the page.
Fewer dead-end phone calls
Someone who has already seen roughly what the materials come to is a different conversation from someone who has not. The ones who were never going to go ahead find that out on your page, in their own time, without taking an hour of yours.
They stay on your site
The alternative is that they open a new tab, land on somebody else’s calculator, and read that firm’s advice while they are there. If the tool is on your page, the answer arrives with your name at the top of it.
Something worth ranking
A page called "How much does a new bathroom floor cost?" with a working calculator on it is a genuinely more useful result than the same page without one. That is the kind of page that earns its position and keeps it.

The code is plain HTML, so it goes wherever your site lets you add HTML. The usual places:
WordPress
Edit the page, add a Custom HTML block, paste, Update. On WordPress.com rather than your own hosting you will need a plan that permits custom HTML — the free tiers strip iframes out.
Wix
Add → Embed Code → Embed HTML, choose Code, paste. Wix puts your code inside its own frame with a height you drag, so set that element tall enough for the calculator — otherwise it scrolls inside the box.
Squarespace
Add a Code Block and paste. Code Blocks are only available on the Business plan and above; on Personal, link to the calculator page instead.
Shopify
Open the page in the admin, switch the text editor to HTML with the <> button, and paste. For a section you can reuse, a Custom Liquid block does the same job.
Webflow
Drag in an Embed element from the Add panel, paste, then publish — embeds do not render in the designer preview, only on the live site.
Anything else
It is ordinary HTML. Anywhere you can paste an iframe — a hand-written page, a builder we have not listed, a page template — it will work.
Put it on the page about that job, not on your home page. Someone reading about bathrooms wants the tile calculator right there, halfway down, under the photos of the work.
The arrangement, in full
You get the calculator free, for as long as you want it, on as many pages as you like. The snippet includes a plain credit line under the widget — the calculator's name and ours, linked, in small text. Leave it there and we are square.
That link is deliberately a normal, honest credit rather than a keyword-stuffed one, because the stuffed kind is against Google's guidelines and would do neither of us any good. Nothing is hidden in the snippet: no tracking pixel on your visitors, no cookies dropped on your domain, no email harvesting. Read it before you paste it — it is four lines.
And if you want to use it for your own quoting
The widget is for your customers. If you want the same calculators for your own jobs — costing a project room by room, keeping the running total against what you have actually spent, and sending the client a clean PDF with your figures and no watermark on it — that is the Pro plan at €24.99 a month.

Does it cost anything to put a calculator on my site?
No. The widgets are free to embed on any site, with no account, no API key and no limit on page views. We ask one thing in return: keep the small attribution link that comes with the snippet.
Do my customers need to sign up to use it?
No. The calculator runs and shows its full result to anyone, with no account and no email address. Signing up only matters if a homeowner wants to save a whole project, and that happens on our site, not yours.
Will it slow my website down?
The widget loads in an iframe marked loading="lazy", so the browser only fetches it when the visitor scrolls near it. Your own page loads at its normal speed whether the widget is there or not.
Can I put my own prices in?
Not yet. Visitors can edit the example prices themselves inside the widget, but you cannot pre-set your rates as the default. Treat the money figures as a ballpark for the customer, and quote your own labour and material rates as you always would.
Is the estimate binding on me?
No, and you should say so. The calculators produce planning estimates from standard formulas and typical waste factors, not a quotation. Nothing in the widget commits you to a price, and our disclaimer says the same to the visitor.
What if my website builder strips out scripts?
Untick the auto-resize option when you copy the code. You get a plain iframe with a fixed height that works anywhere HTML is allowed — the widget simply scrolls inside its own box instead of growing to fit.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. The widget is responsive and fills the width you give it, which matters because most people checking what a job might cost are doing it on a phone.
Can I take the MaterialCalc link off?
That link is what the widget costs, so please leave it. It is a plain, honest credit line under the calculator rather than a keyword-stuffed link, and it is the only reason we can give the tool away. If it genuinely will not work for your site, get in touch and we will talk it through.
